We give personal consultancy over a period of days to help a senior manager, executive or director find the right direction after redundancy (typically from 2 to 6 days per employee).

  • During this consultancy, many executives will examine a wide range of potential opportunities including new executive roles, career change, interim management and even setting up their own business.
  • We work with each individual, allowing the executive to select from our wide range of modules.
  • Together we meet the challenges of adapting to these changes, ensuring a positive and sensitive approach which has been developed through our work with executives and leaders across public and private organisations.

Sample Executive Outplacement Plan

  • The majority of executive outplacement consultancy begins with a thorough self-analysis of key achievements to identify skills, knowledge and personal qualities that have played an essential part in the executive's career to date.
  • We focus entirely on the individual, rather than the current situation being faced. This ensures the executive develops a clear vision for managing their career and decision making effectively.
  • We will partner through this process, making ourselves available in person, by web, e-mail or telephone - whichever is the most appropriate to the executive and at agreed and ad hoc intervals.

Deliverables

  • The key deliverables from executive outplacement include developing a strategy and campaign plan for career management, guiding through the process of senior level job applications, and helping to prepare for pending interviews or whatever direction the executive chooses.
  • We work closely to identify and set objective goals for the future that are congruent with your personal and career aspirations.
  • The individual will then focus on where s/he wants their career to be in the immediate, medium and long term.

Timing

  • Typically this will involve the appointed consultant spending a total of xx hours providing outplacement support to the executive.
  • Ongoing support will be available to an executive for a period of up to 6 months after the individual has left an organisation or has found a suitable new role.

Sample Modules

  • We work with Senior Executives to create a tailor-made programme relevant to their requirements. Examples of our modules include:
    • Behavioural profiling to assess strengths and development areas for career planning.
    • Networking and how to maximise your contacts.
    • Working with executive search organisations, and how to optimise and maximise these relationships.
    • CV preparation to showcase achievements and competencies; preparing covering letters, applications and personal marketing statements.
    • Assisting with interview or assessment centre preparation.
    • These services are not exhaustive. The focus of the individual's programme is identified at an initial scoping meeting.
